HTC announced a partnership with the Nobel Museum to jointly create the first VR (Virtual Reality) display exhibiting the efforts of Nobel laureates in Stockholm, Sweden, and Dubai, reported Commercial Times on December 13. Aside from gaming, HTC is striving to expand VR applications into various vertical markets, including arts, education, culture, business, and the medical field. Besides, HTC also revealed the launch of a new VR center at La Geode, which is part of the Science and Industry Museum in Paris, using HTC Vive headsets to provide immersive VR experience. The VR center will run until the summer of 2017.
